MODERN DEFINITION

Modern Definition is a full service graphic design firm dedicated to assisting businesses and entrepreneurs with design and print solutions. With experience in editorial design, logo design, stationery design, marketing collateral, and a variety of other design, Modern Definition is able to effectively balance creativity and innovation with the latest in marketing trends and strategies.

Modern Definition was founded by Susie Park in 2010. Susie holds a BFA in Visual Communication with a focus in Graphic Design from the Illinois Institute of Art. She has worked with a variety of corporate entities from New York, Chicago, and Portland and has developed relationships with some of the industry's best printers.

Susie has a tasteful, clean design aesthetic and develops effective solutions that she integrates across a variety of media. She will work with you to understand your company, customers, and needs and develop a collaborative strategy designed to achieve your goals.

magazine DESIGN

A selection of pages from the Posh Kids Magazine Issues 1-4.  Each magazine is between 80-110 pages with the premier issue starting at 48 pages.  Responsible for the overall visual aspects of the magazine.  Developed cover-to-cover layout and design for each issue for print and web.

BRANDING

LOGO AND STATIONARY DESIGN

A selection of brand identities for clients in different industries.  Responsible for developing each logo and stationary design while maintaining the clients vision and brand standards.  Sourced vendors for printing and assisted clients in selecting the right paper stock and PMS colors for their final stationary.

A selection of print design such as; proposal, media kit, brochure, banner, menu, and brand identity book for clients in different industries.  Each material was designed to communicate directly to the clients customers.  Responsible for conceptualizing and designing each material from start to finish.  Sourced vendors for printing and assisted clients in selecting the right paper stock, bindery, and coating.
